Dr. Ahmad is a Board-Certified Cataract and Cornea Specialist who brings advanced expertise, a patient-first approach, and a strong commitment to helping patients see clearly and comfortably. He will be seeing patients at our Santa Maria location.

With a primary focus on Cataract Surgery, Dr. Ahmad also specializes in Cornea Surgery, as well as LASIK and other Refractive Surgery procedures.

What sets Dr. Ahmad apart is his patient-centered philosophy—he takes time to understand each patient’s full medical history and lifestyle to create personalized treatment plans that support long-term vision health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ahmad enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing tennis, going to the beach, and exploring new foods. He is also fluent in Urdu and Hindi, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients.

Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where he focused on neurobiology. He then pursued advanced fellowship training at the Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, specializing in cornea, refractive surgery, and advanced cataract surgery.
