Dr. John B. Cotter is a highly respected ophthalmologist and cornea specialist with nearly five decades of experience in eye care. He received his Medical Degree in 1972 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City and residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City Medical Center.
With a focus on comprehensive ophthalmology evaluations, glaucoma management, cataratas, y refractive surgery, Dr. Cotter has developed a reputation for excellence in general ophthalmology and specialized eye care. He has also completed several advanced courses, including the Lancaster Basic Science Course and the Pathology Course at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
His experience includes fellowships at Baylor University in Houston, TX, and the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia, as well as a research sabbatical at Hospital Hotel Dieu in Paris. Throughout his career, Dr. Cotter has been recognized worldwide for his research and contributions to ophthalmology.
Dr. Cotter is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, el American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Societe Francaise D’Opthalmologie.
